“I started playing golf 3 months ago, and I genuinely wish I had called Don to schedule a lesson on day 1! But when I did call to schedule the lesson, he made it very easy to get seen the next day. Don made everything easy to understand and completely judgment-free. He was also incredibly knowledgeable - All he needed was to see my swing 5 times before he had me do some drills that highlighted the bad habits I picked up from learning golf on my own, and then how to fix them. Golf is extremely difficult...but if you want to learn from someone who knows their stuff, has a great mentality around playing, and is going to give you all the tools to improve your game - I could not recommend PFG Clubs more.”

“I’ve had 2 lessons with Don in the last month. I was skeptical about going to a guys house with a garage setup, but man he is legit. Garage setup is one you wish you had yourself that’s for sure. Complete system with monitors. I’m a 9 Handicap and couldn’t figure out why I’m hitting off the hosel. Don had me hitting better within no time. I’m hitting everything 10-20yds farther now too with some adjustments in my down swing. If you need club fittings, beginner to expert lessons, grips, shafts etc he can do it all! “TLDR; if you think your game can be improved by custom fitting your bag, you're right. Trust in Don. Full Review: I'm three months back into golf after an 8 year layoff. Two weeks ago, my bag consisted of custom fitted PW-4 irons that were only a couple years old before the layoff (10 years in golf technology years) along with driver, woods, hybrid and wedges that were cobbled together over the previous 15 years through winning tournament raffles and buying the current next best club every so often. I contacted Don not because I thought I needed new clubs, but because I thought maybe he could make sure what I thought were perfectly fine clubs fit my updated swing and older body. It didn't take long after warming up in his state of the art indoor simulator setup to think differently. Trust in Don. After I hit a few balls on camera, Don had enough info to give me an in depth video and metric based assessment of my swing. Then he started setting up and handing me club head and shaft combinations to try out. Within minutes, I had gained a club to a club and a half length just due to new technology and having the right shaft/iron combination for my swing. Trust in Don. This past weekend, I played a brand new bag. Full irons and wedges, all with far greater feel and distance combinations than my previous clubs and properly gapped. New fairway woods that pretty much hit themselves, only a lot farther than you'd expect. Trust in Don. The driver is still a work in progress. I was having a hard time hitting it in the simulator (suffering from ISS - indoor simulator syndrome), so Don sent it home with me to play with on the course. Based on my post-round feedback, he's special ordered what he thinks is the right shaft to get my spin rate where it needs to be. And if that one doesn't do it, he'll keep trying (his words, not mine). Even without the "right" shaft, I picked up 20-25 yards in head technology. Trust in Don. Normally when you take a whole new bag of clubs out for a round, you'd expect to need some time to dial them in. In fact, I was so concerned about having a crappy round due to my new sticks, I thought about not playing them until I got some range sessions in. Needless concern after Don fits you. Instead, expect comments from your buddies about how long and accurate you're hitting and how much you must be paying your new swing coach. Trust in Don. Don's a stickler about making sure everything is dialed in and has the knowledge, equipment and golf sense to back it up. When I head over to have the new driver shaft installed, I'll also book time to fit the most used club in my bag, my putter. Trust in Don.”

“This place and Don are awesome. If you're looking for a top tier golf instructor for lessons or for a custom club fitting this is the only place you should go. I've been to GolfTec and Club Champion in the past for a custom fitting and felt like I got cookie cutter treatment and was thrown into the shaft they had available and whatever big box brand they favored. I never feel like I actually got custom fit. This is NOT the case with Don. My wedge fitting lasted 3 hours and was filled with lessons, drills, trial and error and lots of measurements. Don measured all of my current clubs and checked swingweights to ensure my set was efficient and that the wedges would transition nicely. I never felt rushed. Don never tried to sell me anything. Ive never heard of a 3 hour-lesson filled club fitting before but this is Don's standard. He also works out of his house which might seem like a negative to some at first but this couldn't be a better experience. He has an unbelievable putting green and chipping area, better than most golf stores and top of the line GC Quad, lasers, shaft options, grip options, loft and lie machines, etc... Just incredible. I couldn't recommend this experience more highly. Can't wait to pick up my new Edel wedges in a week or so.”

“I have to say that Don is an incredible instructor! I was in the market for a new putter when I came across his business - Perfectly Fit Golf Clubs. Even though his set up is at his residence, it is WAY better than going to the box stores. For one I didn’t feel any pressure from sharing a hitting bay or any other distractions. Don first checked on my posture and putting stroke and gave me advice on the proper technique. He then introduced me to different putters based on the data he collected. Overall, the experience was professional and friendly. I highly recommend giving Don a call for a fitting. I know that I will be back for the rest of my club fittings and lessons.
