Private One-on-One Attention
Your lesson is built around your swing, your goals, your questions, and the part of your game that needs attention first.
One-on-one indoor golf instruction for beginners, ranked juniors, serious players, private-club golfers, and high school teams across North County San Diego. Coach Don Clarke teaches from a dedicated studio near the Escondido/San Marcos border using clear instruction, real ball flight, launch monitor data, video feedback, and written recaps.
The goal is simple: understand what is happening, work on the right priority, and leave with a plan you can actually use. Perfectly Fit Golf combines personal coaching, launch monitor feedback, video analysis, and club-fitting knowledge in one focused studio environment.
Your lesson is built around your swing, your goals, your questions, and the part of your game that needs attention first.
You get time to understand the correction, train it, ask questions, and begin building the change during the session.
After the lesson, you receive a recap explaining what was covered, what was identified, and what to practice next.
Hit into a full-size 16' x 10' impact screen while seeing ball flight and launch monitor feedback in real time.
GCQuad and Swing Catalyst help make the lesson easier to see, easier to understand, and easier to verify.
Because Coach Don is also a fitter and master club builder, equipment issues can be identified when they are affecting your swing or ball flight. See club fitting services.
During lessons and fitting sessions, you hit into the same 16' x 10' impact screen your ball flight appears on. This gives you a realistic indoor golf experience while Coach Don uses launch monitor feedback to explain what is happening and what needs to improve.
A good lesson should make the game clearer. Coach Don uses launch data, ball flight, video, and simple explanation so you can connect the feel of the swing with what the ball is actually doing.
Every student is evaluated first, because a beginner, a ranked junior, a private-club player, and a plus-handicap golfer do not all need the same starting point. The lesson is built around the player in front of Coach Don.
New golfers learn the game in the right order, starting with the foundation they need most instead of being overwhelmed with too much too soon.
Lessons are private, respectful, and personalized for each golfer’s body, goals, experience level, and learning style.
Serious juniors get structure, swing understanding, launch monitor feedback, and clear practice priorities to keep developing with purpose.
Better players can work on precise details: start direction, face control, path, launch, spin, contact, scoring shots, and performance consistency.
We look at your setup, motion, contact, ball flight, and launch monitor data to find the biggest priority first.
You work on the change during the lesson with clear drills and feedback, not just a quick explanation.
You receive a written recap after the session so you know what was covered and what to practice next.
These chapters represent the basic lesson structure Coach Don uses to help students build a complete game from the ground up. Each student is evaluated first to determine the correct chapter to begin with, but the golf swing should generally be learned in this order.
Putting setup, aim, face control, stroke path, speed control, green reading, and making sure the putter fits the way you naturally set up and stroke the ball.
Grip, stance width, ball position, posture, alignment, distance from the ball, and the setup fundamentals that give the swing a chance before the club ever moves.
Simple, repeatable short-game technique for better contact, distance control, trajectory, feel, and confidence around the green.
The bridge between short game and full swing: controlled approach shots, solid contact, tempo, distance control, and scoring consistency.
Building more consistent ball-striking, start direction, trajectory, face control, and distance control with the clubs many golfers use into greens.
Improving contact, launch, sequencing, and confidence with longer irons and more demanding approach shots.
Understanding when to use hybrids or fairway woods, how each club should be played, and how to create better launch, contact, and consistency.
Improving tee shots through better setup, launch conditions, attack angle, club path, face control, spin, distance, and accuracy.
Hitting out of the rough and hitting out of the sand are specialty shots. They are not part of the basic lesson chapter order and are introduced when the student has the right foundation and the shot becomes important for their development.
Some golfers need to see the motion clearly. Others need a tool or drill that helps them feel the correction. Coach Don uses technology and training aids when they help make the lesson easier to understand and easier to repeat. See the studio technology.

Coaches can schedule time to bring players into the studio, stay present during the session, ask questions, and be completely involved. Coach Don can come to the range your team uses for group instruction, team practice support, and shared coaching priorities.
Putter setup, aim, length, lie, and stroke tendencies can be evaluated in a group setting so players and coaches understand what each golfer needs.
Driver, iron, wedge, fairway wood, hybrid, ball, and full-bag fittings should be completed in the studio where the full fitting technology and tools are available.
This is especially helpful for ranked juniors, serious high school players, and coaches who want a clear, structured development plan while keeping the coach fully involved.
After your session, Coach Don provides a detailed written recap covering what was discussed, what was identified, and what you should work on next. That way, you are not trying to remember everything from memory.
