Golf Equipment Brands I Believe In
I do not try to carry everything. I focus on golf equipment, shafts, putters, training tools, and studio technology that I believe can genuinely help golfers when they are fit, built, and used correctly.
I can’t carry everything. What I do carry, I believe in.
There are countless choices in golf equipment, and those choices change constantly. New models come out every year, but newer does not automatically mean better for the golfer standing in front of me.
Over the years, I have learned to focus on brands and technology that stand out for quality, fitting value, real performance potential, and the ability to help different types of players. This page is built around that same idea from my original Equipment page: use what works, understand why it works, and fit it to the golfer.
Brand names are not the fitting.
A great brand still has to be matched to the right golfer. Head design, shaft weight, shaft profile, lie angle, loft, grip size, putter design, and build quality all matter. The logo gets your attention. The fitting determines whether it actually helps your game.
Brands selected for fitting value, technology, quality, and performance.
The current Equipment page was built around a few brands that stood out to me. This new page keeps that same foundation while presenting it in a cleaner, more professional way.
New Level Golf
New Level Golf has offered iron designs for many different player types, from game-improvement help to compact forged irons for golfers who want feel, workability, and a clean look. I have especially liked the idea behind their forged players-distance and oversized forged iron options because they can blend performance, feel, forgiveness, and value.
L.A.B. Golf
Putting is its own challenge. A golfer can have a good stroke and still fight the putter if length, lie, aim, head design, grip, or torque profile do not match the player. L.A.B. Golf matters because it brings serious putter science into the fitting conversation and gives golfers another way to gain confidence on the greens.
Edel Golf
Edel has built a reputation around fitting-driven equipment, including SMS-style weighting concepts, wedges, irons, and putters. That matters because adjustability and fitting options can help fine-tune how the club looks, feels, launches, and performs for the golfer.
Breakthrough Golf Technology
BGT is important because shaft performance is not only about full-swing clubs. Putter shafts and specialty shaft designs can influence feel, stability, face awareness, and consistency. For the right golfer, shaft technology can make the club feel more stable and predictable.
Fujikura
Fujikura has been one of the most important shaft conversations in modern fitting because weight, profile, launch, spin, and feel can dramatically change how a golfer delivers the club. A good shaft fit is not just regular, stiff, or senior — it is timing, comfort, launch window, and control.
True Temper
True Temper has been a major name in steel shaft fitting for a long time. For many golfers, especially stronger or more aggressive players, shaft weight, feel, and stability can be just as important as the clubhead itself.
Technology that supports the fitting — not technology for show.
The old Equipment page included technology banners for the simulator, GCQuad, putter technology, shafts, and training tools. The new page keeps that idea, but explains how those tools are used inside the studio.
Foresight GCQuad
Detailed club and ball data for club fittings, lessons, ball fittings, gapping, launch, spin, carry distance, strike quality, and delivery patterns.
Swing Catalyst
Video analysis connects the swing motion to the launch data so the golfer can see what is causing the ball flight.
High-Speed Cameras
Two 240 fps cameras capture movement, setup, sequence, impact, and club delivery from key angles.
Simulator Environment
A 16' x 10' impact screen, 4K simulator setup, FSX 2020, and GSPro create a private indoor environment for lessons and fittings.
Other brands may still be part of the conversation.
Basing this page on the original Equipment page does not mean those are the only brands I can evaluate. Depending on the golfer, the fitting may also include other quality heads, shafts, grips, balls, or putters when they make sense.
The important thing is not whether a brand is popular. The important thing is whether that product fits the golfer’s swing, delivery, speed, contact pattern, ball flight, feel preference, and performance goals.
The details matter.
Shaft weight, bend profile, torque feel, grip size, texture, swingweight, and build length can all influence face control, timing, launch, spin, and comfort. This is where club-building knowledge matters.
Recommendations backed by real build knowledge.
The Golf Shop side of Perfectly Fit Golf matters because the fitting is not just theoretical. Length, loft, lie, shafts, grips, swingweight, and repair details can be evaluated with a club-builder’s eye.
Grip replacement, size recommendations, texture preferences, and grip style decisions based on comfort and face control.
Re-shafting, shaft pulls, shaft length changes, and build recommendations based on weight, flex profile, feel, and performance.
Iron, wedge, and putter loft/lie checks and adjustments when appropriate for the player and club design.
Swingweight, length, ferrules, loose heads, rattles, hot melt, and other build details that can affect feel and performance.
Useful tools, not gimmicks.
Training aids should not be random. They should help a golfer feel a specific movement, understand a correction, and practice it correctly after the lesson. Tools such as ProSENDR, Downshift Golf, Tour Striker, and others may be used when they match the actual issue.

The best equipment is the equipment that fits you.
New Level, L.A.B. Golf, Edel, BGT, Fujikura, True Temper, GCQuad, Swing Catalyst, training aids, and club-building tools all have a place. But the value is not just having access to brands and technology. The value is knowing how to use them to make better decisions for your game.

Equipment, brands, and technology questions.
Do you carry every golf brand?
No. I do not try to carry everything. I focus on equipment, shafts, putters, training aids, and technology I believe can genuinely help golfers when fit correctly.
Which brands are featured?
This page is based around the same core equipment-page brands: New Level Golf, L.A.B. Golf, Edel Golf, Breakthrough Golf Technology, Fujikura, True Temper, Foresight Sports, and selected training tools.
Why does technology matter?
Technology matters when it helps explain what is happening in the swing, at impact, and through the ball flight. The goal is better answers, not more confusing numbers.
Can you adjust or repair clubs?
Yes. Many club-building and repair services can be handled, including grips, shaft work, length adjustments, loft/lie work, putter checks, swingweighting, and other build details when appropriate.
